We need someone who can provide hands on help to our doctors, technicians, assistants and reception. We provide good training on our procedures and will work with you to increase your skill level and confidence. Some of the skills we are looking for are:

  • Excellent attendance and punctuality with reliable transportation
  • Experience in a small animal veterinary practice is desirable for this position
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and computer usage
  • Assist our DVM and Technicians in exam rooms, critical care, monitoring, surgery, radiology
  • Animal handling and general care skills
  • Excellent telephone communications and receptionist skills
  • Able to work Saturdays and other weekend and holiday hours when needed

Front Desk Receptionist

Renton Veterinary Hospital is seeking a highly motivated, people oriented front desk receptionist to complement our team and embark on a career of working in the veterinary industry. Experience with Avimark software is a plus but it can be easily taught. Looking for a motivated individual who can interact positively with our clients and answer basic veterinary questions. Duties include scheduling appointments, relaying information to clients regarding treatment and after-care, managing medical records, applying payments to accounts, daily opening and closing of books etc. A reliable transportation is a must have. Kennel Attendant (Renton, WA)

Renton Veterinary Hospital is seeking a friendly and dedicated Pet Care Attendant to join our team. This is a position with a flexible schedule, however, rotating evening, Saturday and Sunday shifts may be required. Duties may include walking pets, feeding and watering pets in timely manner, making recording observation on pets health and behavior, maintaining the cleanliness of dog runs/cages and cat cages, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the kennel area and hospital. Duties may also include holding cats and dogs for technicians or doctors. Occasional stocking of inventory is also expected.

This is a great position to get into the animal veterinary field, to be able to work one-on-one with animals, and learning while earning.
