I originally started working here at Renton Veterinary Hospital as a volunteer when I was sixteen. I volunteered here 3-4 days of the week after school and during the summer time, and I loved every minute of my work! After volunteering here for about a year and learning a lot of animal care skills, I had the opportunity to actually become a part-time team member as I continued into college. This job has been the best ever and I have learned a lot about all aspects of veterinary medicine which figures prominently in my immediate future. Presently I serve as a kennel assistant, and as a part-time receptionist.
My love for animals started when I was very young. Ever since fourth grade, I have always wanted to become a veterinarian. I graduated from John F. Kennedy high school in June 2009 and I am currently attending Green River College where I am studying science. I am planning on transferring to a four year University within the next year so I can continue my lifelong dream and become a veterinarian.
I have six pets; a hamster named Squeezer, two cats named Simba and Missy, and three dogs named Casey, Brandy, and Jasmine. I take every day I wake up as a blessing and I have fun and make it enjoyable because I do not believe in having regrets! I enjoy spending my free time learning about animal medicine, reading books, hanging with friends, and spending time with my family!
