Karen is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and graduated for the Veterinary Technology Program at Pierce College. After a long career in human resources she  followed her passion for animal health into veterinary medicine.
Karen is owned and loved by a senior Bearded Collie, MacGregor, who turned 16 in January 2008. MacGregor is living with Old Dog Vestibular Disease and requires a little help from his friend. He has bounced back from two episodes of ODVD and is doing well, given his limitations. When not involved in something to do with dogs, Karen enjoys gardening and cooking.
Karen’s special interests are in dentistry and a wellness approach to pet care. She loves to work with clients who want to maximize their pet’s ability to stay healthy and live a long and happy life. She is happy to talk to you about how to get and keep your pet’s teeth healthy and how to know if your pet is overweight.
