Our Boarding Services

Boarding Request Submission Boarding Request Submission

At Renton Veterinary Hospital we are equipped to handle all your boarding needs.  Our staff is experienced in working with dogs, cats and most exotics including rabbits, rodents, reptiles and birds of all shapes and sizes. Because we are also a veterinary hospital, taking care of special needs animals that require medication is never a problem. Our facility is heated by fuel oil. Your pets will continue to be safe and warm when the electricity is off.

All boarding areas include both natural day light from skylights or windows and artificial lighting for the short winter days.  You have the option of supplying your own food or we can feed our in-house IAMS/EUK Low Residue at no extra charge.  (All owners whose pet/pets have special diet needs must provide their own food.)

RVH pet boarding

FELINES:
Options for cat accommodations include our 2'x2'x3' condo or the 11ft by 11ft "Cat Room" which can be rented for up to 4 cats at once from the same household.  Cages are cleaned and supplied with fresh bedding each day.  Food, water and litter boxes are cleaned and refreshed twice a day.  We use only bio-degradable litter made from recycled paper.

CANINES:
Options for dog accommodations include a 2'x2'x3' small condo recommended for under 15lb, 3'x3'x3' medium condo recommended for up to 30lb and our 4'x12' large dog runs recommended for 20 lb. or greater.  All dog boarding INCLUDES fresh food/water twice a day and three walks/play time a day outside in our fenced yard which is cover with lush lawn.

AVIAN/EXOTICS:
When possible, owner supplies the cage.  If not, we need advance notice to accommodate you.  Bring the foods your pet is used to eating.  If they run out, we will go replace them.  We can provide hands-on handling time with these pets, just let us know what you would like us to do.  If your pet needs special heat or lighting, let us know in advance to see if we have the necessary equipment.  If not, bring your own equipment.
